We will be leaving our little blue house behind soon as we have found a log cabin with a few acres that suits us better (more on that in a later post). This means the little minnow will also be saying good-bye to her new found neighbor friends. But living in a small town means their friendship will likely continue with frequent small town run-ins and all sorts of play dates.
Here's to sweet childhood memories.
No that is definitely not a pitchfork on her chest. Don't even suggest it! She does her own mud work ok? 3 Comments
I didn't think it was a pitchfork. I thought it was a trident. Of some sort. Now I see that it's a Channukah Menorah. But, I don't understand why she would draw that on her chest, a 4 year old, having been born into a Gentile family. Has she ever expressed to you that she would like to become Jewish? Sorry to be so candid... Just trying to make sense of this mud symbol she chose for her "message tee". Don't worry... Every kid has a religious identity crisis like this at some point. She'll figure it out.
ReplyDelete;~) haha
No. I can positively say that she hasn't had any questions regarding Jewish people and their customs. But,I will be ready when she does thanks to you. I got to go google some things.
