Do all little girls love fairies? Probably so. Mint Tulip certainly does.
I love 'em too.
Mint Tulip often asks if fairies are real. My answer is always the same.
"No one has ever found a fairy but the world is a big place. Fairies could be out there somewhere."
I believe it too.

Seems like I have been making homes for fairies for a long time.
Mint Tulip started her fairy home building business young as well.
This one is our most recent.
We made it together.
The fairies must have liked our little house because they came for a visit.
Wouldn't you if you were a fairy?
They ate most of the food, left a lot of crumbs, drank all the water, slept in the bed, and moved the furniture a little. One fairy even left a little tee tee in the potty.
The most luxurious Fairy House I've every seen!! Is that a CD table and wine cork chairs? I would visit it if I were a fairy.
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you Mama. And yes that is a CD table (with an Oil of Olay base) and wine cork chairs.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet! A nice look into 'girl' life. As you know, Jordan wants to destroy almost anything that is built, I mean, why else would you go to the trouble to build it in the first place? If you can't knock it down or stomp it into the ground. Boys. Boys. Boys. Well, being that I have both boys, I forget about little sweet girl things like this. While reading this, I could not stop thinking about all the times Charley would try to build things, only for Jordan to destroy, and for our time to together to be very dramatic while trying to explain to Charley why Jordan would act this way.
ReplyDeleteI wish I was a fairy. This looks like a four star fairy hotel.
ReplyDeleteYeah, once Ethan bought Cogeian a really expensive light saber at Disneyland. Then after that, Coge ate some cotton candy. The way this story ends is that Cogeian took that light saber, lifted it high above his head and smashed it as hard as he could onto the ground into a bajillion pieces. It was so dramatic that Ethan even had to laugh... There were people everywhere kinda staring for a second. (Coge is REAL sensitive to sugar heheh)...
ReplyDeleteI love ya'lls fairy house. Did you get the idea from that time the tooth fairy came to see you at Grandmother's house? And she left footprints? Footprints of Bic pen ink? I wonder how she did that. I would stay in this fairy house, for sure though. It's got some frills. Nice persian rug, beautiful tableware, luxurious seating, lovely fixtures, gorgeous entryway.. I could go on. I would like to make a reservation. Please. Seriously.
Phyllis, I simply CANNOT imagine not having little girl stuff like this around. Yeah. Charley misses Jordan a lot, but she doesn't miss his King Kong like destruction zones.
ReplyDeleteKatie, I could be a fairy for a day or two also.
If Cogeian was me and Ethan was Dad, that story would have ended with my rear end being tore up. And I was actually going to write about my tooth fairy experience in this blog, but I decided that #1 It would somehow make me homesick. #2 It was such an important memory for me it would deserve it's own post.
I am afraid the fairy house will be booked up for quite sometime. Cinderella and her crew rolled up today in that carriage of hers. Show off.
