Chuck wore this to Little Bit's 3rd birthday party.
We were clowns.
I hung onto it thinking I could sell it on etsy.
Deep down, I knew the chances of that were slim.
So. I turned it into a stocking.
I am so proud of me!
I added a lot of embellishments to Christmas it up a bit (but also to cover multiple problems areas).
Santee Claus is going to have a hard time fitting his giant mitts down in this one (another oversight).
But hey, in the beginning there was no stocking. And now there is a stocking.
The pin was my Grandmother's.
The trim was from the first set of curtains I hung at our first home back in the Mill Village.
The red and white striped fabric was purchased long ago at a thrift store (strangely, also for that 3rd birthday party).

ReplyDeleteHow did I miss this one? Dang, sister! You're getting good at sewing! Cute AND FASHIONABLE stocking. As I stated before, if you could help me THREAD my sewing machine, that'd be great. Thanks. Bye.
ReplyDeleteThanks Katie. You got it right.
ReplyDeleteWell sister, it was full of stupid mistakes, but I am learning. I will thread your machine next time I am in CA. We can do it sister!!! We can.
