My Aunt Sylvia gave us this little bench.
I knew it would be the perfect seat for Charley's vanity.
Only it was wobbly, so I shored it up here and there.
And the upholstery was a little dated...
I pulled off FIVE layers of fabric.
I felt like I was unearthing a time capsule dating back to the 60's.
Then I painted it....almost to death.
And roughed it up a little.
I was so proud of it, me and the seat had a photo sesh.
(Get ready for a major photo explosion.)
Here's how it looks in her room.
The paint was left over...the fabric left over...the seat a hand me down.
I'd say that computes to zero dollars.
Zero dollars ya'll.
Just adorable! I love it.
ReplyDeleteVery cute!
ReplyDeleteit's a beaut. love the fringe-y details.
ReplyDeleteSo cute and love how the color POPS amongst the white of the fabric. By the way, how long do you think the white will last? :)
