Details in a Fun Space: A Little Seat Makeover

My Aunt Sylvia gave us this little bench.

I knew it would be the perfect seat for Charley's vanity.

Only it was wobbly, so I shored it up here and there.

And the upholstery was a little dated...

I pulled off FIVE layers of fabric.

I felt like I was unearthing a time capsule dating back to the 60's.

Then I painted it....almost to death.

And roughed it up a little.

I was so proud of it, me and the seat had a photo sesh.

(Get ready for a major photo explosion.)

Here's how it looks in her room.

The paint was left over...the fabric left over...the seat a hand me down.

I'd say that computes to zero dollars.

Zero dollars ya'll.

So cute and love how the color POPS amongst the white of the fabric. By the way, how long do you think the white will last? :)
