It's the Little Things

I remember my Mama leaving me notes in my lunch.
It's not something she did all the time, but when she did, it meant something.
It made me feel special.
But, Charley isn't reading completely on her own just yet, so I have to keep it simple...
or else she gets her teacher all involved....and that's just embarrassing.

I cut and packed her apple "Aussie" style. Check out how by clicking here.
Aussie apples are easier to eat for little ones and they don't yellow as fast.
Charley wasn't that impressed really.
Also she has recently annouced that she doesn't care for SANDWICHES anymore.
Sandwiches ya'll.
How do you a pack a lunch without a sandwich?

Hey Girl! My kiddos love kabobs. I get toothpicks and alternate cheese cubes and sandwich meat. Grapes go over the ends of the toothpicks. I give them ritz crackers to eat with it. I saw it in a Family Fun and it's their favorite. If you have to send Charley a snack to school, you can pack it in a paper sack and draw a picture on it. I usually draw Bible stories. The kids tell me that other kids look forward to hearing the stories and seeing the pictures everyday. It's helping my kids witness. And that idea didn't come from Pinterest. ;)

She doesn't like sandwiches. Well guess what. When you were her age you only ate TWO THINGS. Hot dogs and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. (Did I get that right?)
