Way back in June Mom and Craig came for a visit.
I'm always thankful when someone makes the 12 hour trip to see us.
I believe Mom has been here three times already!
Craig is a artist so we took him to all the picturesque spots we could think of.
Of course, I've never seen him paint a barrel of faded buoys...
I find it interesting that what he and I choose to photograph is usually very different.
I just loved this old barn.
And while it looks like I took more picture of it than the family...
It's simply not true.
Barns don't have opinions about which photos you are allowed to post of them.
Mothers do.
We even made it to Colonial Williamsburg while they were here.
It was our first time.
Unfortunately, Chuck missed out because he was sick.
It was a hard trip for a mama in her first trimester.
It was hot.
I was weak.
I am glad we went,
but I'm ok with not going back for 15-20 years.
Maybe it's a sin to say so but, Colonial Williamsburg season passes?
I just don't get it.
These sheep were my favorite part.
I could just eat them with a spoon.
Hayley I love ALL of your photographs. That barn looks completely different in these photographs than it does in person. I wish you could do that with me. I feel the same way as you about Colonial Williamsburg but I'm glad I got to see it once. I'm ready to go back to Busch Gardens anytime though. You live in an awesome place. Enjoy it then look for another job and COME BACK HOME!! At least come a little closer. Keep blogging.
ReplyDeleteYour photographs are beautiful Hayley. You have such a fantastic eye. Never lose that ability to capture beauty.
