So as you know, Charley and I are in Alabama. Chuck had to sit this trip out. He's saving his vacation for a big family trip home with the baby. The trip took us 12 hours, and was pre-approved by my doctor. And other than a few (100) Braxton Hicks contractions along the way, we made it just fine. Thank the Lord. We loved seeing the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountain Range and counting water towers along the way. Charley is a good traveler, despite the fact that she refuses to nap, color, or read.
Plus a big, big, unexpected bonus, is that we'll be traveling back to VA in a new car! Chuck and I decided it was time to give up on the station wagon, when after 1300.00 worth of repairs, it was skipping. So, I pulled in to the first car lot I saw on Hwy 77, and ended up buying the first Jeep Liberty that Charley and I laid our eyes on. And while that sounds really spontaneous, it was actually a well thought out, lengthy process, and one that I was glad to have my Dad by side during. While I was working out the deal, it suddenly occurred to me that I hadn't prayed about it. I quickly said a prayer in my head, asking God to help me make the right decisions. I remember saying, "God put your hands all in this." After I prayed that prayer, I was at peace about my choice. I am firm believer in praying about those things that may seem trivial next to bigger issues.
So ya'll say a prayer for us would ya? Tomorrow I'll be 33 weeks pregnant and on the road again! See ya around Virginia!

What greater thing is there for human souls than to feel that they are joined for life - to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories. ~George Eliot
