Just wanted to share some of my kid's creativity...
Some of which is disturbing...
In case you didn't catch it, that's a bloody snout, and a dead animal carcass (above).
Yep. That's my kid.
This was drawn back when she insisted we call her Heather. Now we are calling her Mavis. Real Time Update! Now we are calling her Clawdeen. |
My kid is in love with vampires.
And you MUSTN'T say vampires aren't real, and if you do,
be prepared for an angry bout of yelling, then some stomping off.
Not only does she love vampires, she also loves a little boy named Tripp.
Tripp said he needed a to do list.
Charley happily made him one.
In case you didn't catch it...
Just under "sharpen your pentsuls" see, "kiss me".
And please note the smooch of BLACK lipstick at the top.
Because of notes like these, I've set a rule that her daddy or I must approve any outgoing notes to Tripp. This one did not make the cut. She angrily waded it up, and set out to make a new one.
Left handed, candy canes make me laugh.
Doesn't it look backwards to you?
Charley loves an interesting history lesson.
I once told her about the time I visited Ford's Theatre and
saw Abraham Lincoln's blood stained pillow.
A few weeks later I found this sketch her backpack.
Apparently, she was paying close attention.
Her interpretation of the Trail of Tears.
According to Charley, "because rain looks like tears."
And before Bo came along...
She was sure to include her...
She even puts her mark on My Friend.
That's my girl.

ReplyDeleteSo cute! Be careful of the stories you tell her. Don't want to get a note from the teacher about her drawings. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't take this post. I want to show it to everyone I know. This is one of my faves. Could she BE more awesome??
