So I have this theory.
Babies can seem more or less obedient
depending on the time of year that they were born.
I put it in big letters. See how I did that? It's a revolutionary idea.
It goes like this see, Charley was only three months old her first Christmas. A 3 month old baby doesn't bother the tree. The next Christmas she was 15 months old.
By then she knew better. If she was destructive, Mama would get her.
Bo on the other hand, she was 10 months old on Christmas.
She's could not be trusted with the tree.
It helped that she was scared of trees (totally terrified of most trees) but she gradually built up the courage to cautiously approach the tree to pull the needles off and insert them into her mouth.
And socks and shoes...oh Lord.
Charley didn't wear shoes until she was over a year old. She didn't need them. When it was cold, she was too young to walk. When it was warm, she didn't need shoes. Or socks, for that matter. By the time it was cold again, she was well over a year old.
She knew if she constantly pulled off her shoes, Mama would get her.
And then there's Bo...
The child won't wear socks, shoes, OR hats.
Oh, my baby Charley loved a good hat.
sighhhh
It seems I spent most of this winter bending over, picking up socks and hats.
It's just Bo's style.
She likes to throw things in the floor with no regard for her mother.
When she's finished with her food, where does it go?
The floor. The whole plate. Chunk it.
Finished drinking from that cup? Sling it onto the floor hard enough to knock the lid off please.
I mean this kid will take the pictures off the wall while I'm changing her diaper.
She smack you in the face, while shaking her head no.
She takes pleasure in removing hairs from your head in great quantities.
She'll tear your glasses off your face, and laugh all the while.
I really hope my theory has some merit because if she's not going to grow out of this,
then, then...I don't know what.
A handful..that's what Bo is.
A squishy, loveable handful.

What awesome pictures!!! Love my girls. ALL of them.
ReplyDeleteAw MAN she is a thrower, slapper, and a ripper, ain't she? I think it may have to do with feeling a little more secure. After all, she's got a Momma, a Daddy, AND a big sister looking out for her. I'd probably find this a great reason to get rowdy, too. That's just my theory. Great pics.
