Now this is an Alabama snowman in Virginia.
Normally in our part of Virginia, the snow is too powdery to make a snowman, or even a snowball.
Same story in Alaska. But in Alabama, when we had snow, it was good and wet. We rarely got too many inches at once, so the snowmen were always dirty.
Truthfully, I prefer the powdery snow but the kids, they like to build snowmen and such.
It warmed up quickly after this particular snow, and
snowman building conditions were finally right in Virginia.
This is Charley and her Snowman's handprints, side by side.
This is Charley angrily shooting mean lasers at me because
I accidentally stepped on her and her snowman's handprints.
Her Virginia snowman was reduced to a nub the following day, and thanks to her MOM
...who has mean laser holes through her face...
Charley will be able to look back and remember her snowman friend.

What wonderful photos Hayley!! charley looks so pretty with her flushed cheeks. Such emotion she has for her little melting snow baby.
ReplyDeleteThe snowman looks pretty sad in that last pic. Cuz he's dying. Yeah. But Charley looks very pretty in all of these. Especially with dem rosy CHIKS
