Charley believes in celebrating every holiday to the fullest and St. Patrick's Day was no exception.
One year those leprechauns set the bar really high with their mischievous deeds, so this year they couldn't disappoint. And they sure didn't. When Charley woke up on St. Patrick's Day, she found her arms covered in green polka dots, her pink shoelaces were replaced with green shoelaces, the shoe rack barricaded the door, green silly string filled the sink, there was candy in her pockets and in the Lucky Charms cereal, and her shower water was green!
St. Patrick's Day evening we had a low key party with several simple games that no one can remember. Actually Charley and I remembered that we competed, dropping green peppermints in a jar, then we got out the shaving cream.
Everybody got a leprechaun beard.
Charley thought it was a riot.
Bo wasn't into it.
Then we threw cheese puffs at each other.
Good times.
