The Factory
Chuck was really into it.

Charley and Jordan
The Grownups
This video is terrible but it makes me happy!
I just love how much fun we have when we all get together!
Springvalley Beach
Bo passed out. A very unusual occurrence that didn't last long.
Lots of fishing
A fish bigger than Bo. She's uncomfortable with that.
I would be too I guess.
Hanging out at Dad and Judy's. Charley pulled a chair up to watch wrestling.
Fun with Big Mama
River Rats
Chuck you got a little sunscreen....nevermind.
Guy... A bonafide river rat.
He was trying out his remedy for the missing backstrap.
A little Pinterest project for the kids. What they don't tell you on Pinterest is that once you mix flour and water (rain) the flour turns to PASTE and doesn't come off. Laura said she'd get her lawn mower man to pressure wash it. Sorry. So sorry.
These were great summer shoes.
One of them is missing.
Please tell me if you see it somewhere.
I got this little car for a steal ($5.00.) That's one thing I love about home. Good deals.
A play place at a church along the way.
At Dad's.
So much of our summer fun revolves around the river.
Chuck and Guy helped Dad finish up his new pier posts.
Another thing I like about home...free vacuum with a car wash.
We just piled all the crap in the back, and the kids.
Sweet lazy snuggly pictures
Reminds me SO much of a picture I have of my Dad.
Sunny and I were all snuggly with him just like this but with a 1970's patina.
Lots and lots of library activities.
I love how Charley is helping her sister to see.
A Splash Pad in Ashville
Charley was so sweet with Bo.
Bo loves lipstick. Granna is the hair and makeup grandmother.
Back to the River
Poor Charley. Nobody would get in with her (on this particular day).
Judy set Bo up with a Rubbermaid river.
Throwing rocks in the river is one of Bo's favorite activities.
Lake Winnie!
The was such a cool place.
I can't believe I'd never been.
It has a small town fair like atmosphere, while also throwing in some really cool, more serious rides for the older kids. Also, there's a water park there!
We packed a cooler with the understanding we could bring our lunch into the park (who lets you do that anymore?). We were instructed to pick a picnic table under one the of pavilions and just leave our cooler there! And we did! It was like Mayberry up in there. Nobody touched it.
This place was perfect for both my kids. With the age difference that's a hard thing to come by.
Me and Mom switched off occasionally with the kids,
so I got to ride lot of things things with Charley too.
The Ferris Wheel
You can see the carp in the lake from the top of the ferris wheel! They were that big!
AHHHH!
Bo loves her Mama.
Couldn't pick a favorite
Charley and Granna are on that thing!
Charley had a nightmare about it later.
I met up with a good friend while I was home.
And the kids got together.
And get together's with other friends
This was one of the most awesomest places I've ever been to.
I can't even tell you what it's called or where it is exactly.
It's like almost in Anniston on a pretty heavily traveled cut through road.
We found it by accident.
Apparently it's public property, though it's possible the land belongs to a nearby church.
The water was COLD, but so clear.
Perfect for wading kids and Paw Paw's.
This stranger baby was really interested in making friends with Bo
Bo was really into staring directly at her face with her mouth open.
Charley made her own little rock/water/hole/thingy. You know.
Stuff kids do with rocks and water. She did that.
Dear old Dad working on my car again.
I actually learned a lot about car window motors this trip.
I think if another one breaks I can totally replace it.
Bo looking like a full on kid.
This is what happens when Bo gets out of her booster seat.
The Splash Pad!
Bo spent most of the time freaking my Dad out by running back and forth from the picnic table to the water. "Quit runnin'. Get back there. You gon fall."
Lunch break during one of a few pool trips.
Something big is going on here but I can't say what!
The Mall
Uncle Jerry Don's Hangout (dubbed by Charley)
A sure sign of summer fun...
Dirty baby
Crafts with Granna
A Drive In!
The Zoo
Where me and Charley got to ride a freaking camel.
A Cracker Barrel tradition with Janice and Charlie
Big Mama's House
Aunt Sara and Uncle Sonny Boy's
Dad and Judy
Shew! That was a busy month!
Wow there's so much good stuff in this post! All these pictures are really really great. I chuckled a few times. Looks like a very fun trip. I know we had a fun trip in VA, too but I was a little bummed to have missed y'all in Alabama. We can have fun during Christmas.
