34 years....

I failed to mention that back on October 5th, we had a birthday man to celebrate around here.

He's officially reached the age in which one should make jokes

about fire extinguishers and their relation to the candles on his cake.

He's also reached the age in which I am unable to come up with original, fun birthday activities.

This birthday, he had to settle for a pot roast, brownies, streamers,

a promise for a pair of waders from the Cabelas catalog, muffins, songs, and love.

I think he's officially reached the age that he is

perfectly alright with receiving that type of celebration.

Looks like a great birthday celebration! Hayley, you are a thoughtful wife and Mother. I am really enjoying the blog, I just haven't commented much lately. I love your house and the post about Pumpkin Pie Spice going to school really tugged at my heart.

Chuck looks so sweet in those last couple pics. And you are so sweet for always making such a big deal over everybody's birthday. I'm sure he loved it.
