Mama Reworks It!: Adjustable Dress

We found this little dress at a yard sale.
Horseradish just had to have it.
It was $1.00.
Only it was a dress fit for a teenager.
(Teenagers are alarmingly thin these days.)
(Though I believe this dress is from the 90's, soooooo, I'm confused.)
To eliminate the gaping underarm peep show caused by straps that don't fit,
I just cut them in half, right in the middle.
I tucked the rough ends under and sewed a straight line across the tops.
Then I just tied the two ends together!
And now we've got an adjustable dress!
It'll carry her right on up into the teenage years.
If she's still into a dress from the 1990's, and alarmingly thin.
