At the beginning of a 30 minute drive, Buttercup picked up her little picture Bible and started to look through it. She, like her mother, suffers from motion sickness. She can become nauseous by simply looking down. It's the worst when she's looking at books. Instead of telling her to put the book down, I decided to say a quick (and silent) prayer that she be allowed to read her Bible without getting car sick. The first thing out of her mouth when I parked the car? Mom, I didn't get car sick!

This is so cute. Yay for Buttercup! (I feel that pain, ;) I get sick too...although not so much now that I drive.)
ReplyDeleteWow! That's really cool. God is awesome like that.
ReplyDeleteOoh...that's great! I feel the pain. I was just sick yesterday being a passenger. It's one of those things you hope you outgrow but never do!
ReplyDeleteDramamine is my answer. Our dog gets car sick too. In fact, he had a puking episode today! How pleasant.
ReplyDeleteMust be hereditary! Ha! Or contagious...How will the poor pooch do flying all the way to Alaska? I really should try Dramamine I just always get afraid I will be sawing logs when I arrive.
