I see a star! I haven't seen a star in a long time!

Why are there no stars usually?

Because during this time of year it never gets dark enough to see them! The sun has been changing these last couple of weeks and during the night it actually does get dark now. It gets really dark for (I'm guessing) about 4 solid hours. I bet there have been stars visible a couple of weeks prior to this, but I hadn't seen one until now. It doesn't get dark till 12:00 or so.

Amazing how we took those little beauties for granted in Alabama, isn't it LOL...I was tickled when i got to see the moon last week!!(Was not tickled that I was awake at 3 am to see it however
