Counting a Few Simple Blessings

We are thankful for a lot of things.

One of those things is a free turkey. When our friend Cheddar began his new job, he got a gift card for a free turkey. He and Rachel had already purchased their Thanksgiving turkey so they asked if Chuck and I wanted it. Heck yeah we want a free turkey! What gets me is that they didn't consider just putting in their freezer for a cooking on a rainy day. No. Their first thought was to give it to someone else. How cool is that?

We are even thankful for our dressing....even if it didn't taste anything like Aunt JoAnn's.

I am thankful I followed through with an idea from Family Fun Magazine.

It was not good. Not good at all.

But it was cute and fun to make.

I am thankful I packed the Thanksgiving decorations that Big Mama gave us a couple of years ago.

Well, that is some turkey day ya'll had... That pie is cute as.. pie. Love that it's the shape of Charley's adorable lil hand. That turkey Chuck cooked looks deelish. Ethan made one, too. Maybe they can have a turkey cookin' contest one of these days. We'll have way way too much turkey, and half of it will go to My Friend. And your dressin looks pretty dang good to me, sister. I wanna eat it right now.
That pic of Charley praying is so sweet. Did you notice the strange coloring in that photo? It's black and white around the edges and goes to color in the middle. That's weird. And cool. Weird and cool.
Those paper turkeys remind me of school. In a good way. It might have been one of the only things I enjoyed about school. Oh wait! I really liked the pizza, mashed potatoes, and the rolls, also. Okay, I'm pretty sure we've now discussed all the good parts of school. Signed: SPM

Well you guys look cozy. The house looks cute and warm inside compared to the beautiful snow I see outside the window. Counting your blessings is better than tylonol for lifting your spirits isn't it? Food looks great. Good job. Don't feel bad about the dressing. I've got Joann's cornbread down but still can't get the dressing after years and years of trying. Don't give up. Love the more frequent posts babe. Keep them coming and have a wonderful day. Love you.

You know what sister, when Chuck and I looked back at the photo, that turkey looked not at all deelish. Actually it looked incredibly disturbing. But it was good. Chuck would love a turkey cooking contest. Yeah I colored that photo like that. You're purty swooft to notice.
