Fun in the Snow

She was kinda ill that day. The snow doesn't always agree with her.

Most of the time spent out there was happy time.

This look says, "This isn't really working. Our sled is flimsy and there isn't enough snow, but we are doing the best we can."
This look says, "I am not sliding fast enough and somehow, though deep down I know it isn't true, I blame you, Mom."

We are caribou.

Now that's what I'm talkin about!! Yes I think you're right Hayley. You could have found a cardboard box or something that would slide better down that hill if not a sled maybe a big plastic tub or bowl??? That hill looks like a great place to slide. Is it near your house? The pictures are so colorful and you all look so happy. Thank you thank you thank you. Finally!!

    Thanks ya'll.

Miz Liz, there are no snow ball fights in Alaska! The snow isn't wet enough! Can you believe that? No snowmen either. It is dry, like powder.

Mom, I hear there is a delivery pending that will correct our sled problem. Straight from the Georgia-in-laws. The hill is not near our house, but I have heard about one that is close. We are going to check out soon.

Those are such great pics... Could Charley be any cuter in the caribou one? Um, I also like how you and Chuck decided the caribou had pouty lipped model expressions. I've never looked one right in the face, so how do I know? Caribou could look just like Giselle or something and I... Hey wait, no Giselle must look like a gazelle, so anyway, maybe some other model and I wouldn't know it, soooooooooooooooooooo...

Did Dad call it a "saucer"? Those sleds that fly down the hill? I think I might be getting this mixed up with him saying flying saucer instead of UFO, but something about this whole thing reminds me of sledding.

Well I think he would sled with something called a tube...prolly. And you might see an extree-terrestrial in a flyin' saucer. You are right about that.

And I believe the spelling of pronunciation would be more as I have done it here, in this post, and not as I did it there, in that other post.
