I had never heard of bunny boots before I moved to Alaska. They sound kinda cute don't they?
Well.
Not so much.
We took this photo at the North Pole next to Santa's enormous mold of a foot.
Bunny boots are gargantious.
Especially so on Chuck's mammoth feet.
Here's why
They're packed full of woolly goodness, and are wrapped up in rubber. They are military issued but you can buy them for civilian use also. In fact, most folks recommend that everyone in Alaska have a pair. You may not wear them everyday, like Chuck, but it is good to keep a pair in your vehicle in case of emergency. They are the only boots that will keep your feet warm in extreme temperatures.
And by extreme, I mean -65 ish.

Cost is between $100 - $150
They wouldn't be so bad if they made pink ones....just a thought.....my thoughts...lol
