Petey wears all of her play clothes inside out. She's always in some kind of character and she's never seen a character wear their name across their chest. (Strangely, on the inside, this shirt says "TINA" across the front, like the sign in this post, but is unrelated in real life.) Anytime she gets a new Disney character costume, I have to pull my seam ripper out and pluck that plastic character face off of the front of the dress. I understand her desire to do that.
Signs of spring have been everywhere for weeks now!
It has been absolutely beautiful and uncharacteristically warm. We are eating it up.

Putting on a cute show.
Have ya'll met Bonnie? She's Craig and Mom's dog. There's that character again. Just sniffing the fragrance of a yard weed in the early evening wind. As usual.

awwwww, it looks so beautiful outside! Glad you all are eating it up. Kiddos and doggies both. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful purple flowers or weeds...but a weed is just an unloved flower ya know :) looks like she is lovin them all!!
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of her smelling the weed - well, that didn't sound right, did it? Anyway, she looks so into it...great pics, as always:-)
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, cute pics, Hayley! I'm happy for you two being able to spend time with your family. Being a grandmom, I can't even imagine not seeing my grandkids almost everyday.
ReplyDelete(I've been reading your posts but not commenting - busy with a new granddaughter here - my hope is that she grows up to enjoy life like your daughter.)
Thanks ya'll. Oh we love the weeds Miz Liz. Charley got real mad today when she found out Granddiddy mowed the yard.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Phyllis, that didn't sound right, but it totally cracked me up.
Glad you are still around Connie. I understand not commenting on every post. I don't expect it and am guilty myself.
Tell Ms. Thang I appreciate the inside-out, unintentional shout-out. ;o)
ReplyDeleteTina, you are cracking me up.
ReplyDeleteUM, wow.. I just asked in that last post about the "Tina" shirt I gave her, and I guess I got my answer, huh? I find it absolutely fascinating she wants a "blank slate" for her clothing so she can be whomever she wants that day. Seriously... I do.
ReplyDeleteBEEEAUTIFUL pics, btw. I've never seen the yard like that before.
