Hairdo

Recently, I remembered that having a little girl is akin to having my very own living, breathing baby doll with manageable hair. Being inspired by Mom's mad French braiding skills, I sought out new styling ideas online. It isn't rocket science, but this "twist and pin" idea wouldn't have occurred to me without finding this tutorial.
Then what did I do?
I photographed the heck out of it of course.

This next time I did the "twist and pin" I used shorter bobby pins in a lighter shade.

Hayley she looks so adorable! (And the hairdo is very pretty) As a little girl, my hair was pretty much down to my waist, so my mom would do the single french braid down my back, but THIS is georgous.

(Is it hard to do? I'm surprised a five year old would be so awesome to sit still for that)

Thanks for stopping by Hair Romance. And thanks for the inspiration!

Sharde, I am so glad you found me! I'll be checking out your blog in a few minutes.

    Thanks Phyllis.

Katie, She will sit still for as long as it takes for a pretty hairdo. This took about 10 minutes.

That's super cute stuff, sister. Hey, look up "rope" braiding on google. I saw that one in a magazine or something when I was little and tried it a few times. Do you remember that? It makes a very interesting looking braid. Oh, yeah.. And fishtail braids are pretty, too. OOoo! You should do that thing where you do pigtail braids and then pin them across the top of her head like a little Dutch girl.
