Quicksand with the MOMS Club

Step 1
Mix Cornstarch and Water

Step 2
None!
Mixing cornstarch and water makes instant quicksand.
It surprised me to find that while it looked very wet, it felt quite dry.
When we rested our hands llightly on the top of the mix, they slowly began to sink.
Just like quicksand.
Amazing.
Cornstarch plus water.
Do it.

great idea! I will do this with Jordan - he loves the idea of quicksand. We will have to put it in a big bucket or something. He will want lots of things to sink (he may even feel the need to put his feet in or something...)

Oh yeah, see, Ethan did this with our GRAVY at Thanksgiving. He made it the first day of our three day feast with just regular old flour. It was delicious. The next day, I guess he thought if flour worked well, cornstarch must really be amazing. So the gravy--the gravy that was supposed to go with my dressin'--had a heartbeat and could move around on it's own. I just saw the old so and so the other day at Target. I pretended not to recognize him. Awkward.

Of course you are going to put it in a big bucket Phyllis! That just sounds like you. And you can too because this project is cheap.
