Mama Reworks It: Thrifted for the House

I love old ceramic, figurines like this.

But oftentimes the colors are just awful....

And there are imperfections...

And then sometimes there are small children,

who think they are animals,

who love the colors and the imperfections just as they are.

And they stand between you and your projects.

But mother knows best.

Amazing what a little paint will do.

That looks waaaaaaaay better and a little bit more 'spensive, too. I also like the idea of painting little trinkets like this (maybe less detailed and more simple ones) NEON. Bright blue or bright pink. Very cute in a simple setting.
