Jack-O-Lantern

Carving pumpkins is a must in our family.

Even though, sometimes, deep down, I wish we could just keep one until Thanksgiving.

But like I said before, the kid rules this holiday...

So, we carve.

Do some snacking...

(ok, so I was the only one who snacked)

And then we dig out the pumpkin guts...

We do a little gun shooting....

In our woman aprons...

And we let the kid do the designing....

Chuck painstakingly cuts the design out including each individual tooth...

Then, the teeth promptly rot out of the Jack-O-Lantern's heads.

Your little one's new hair is adorable. and I'm so glad you're settling into Virginia nicely. (It looks very pretty where you live) Keep the posts coming, I'm definitely still reading!

Nice post... You look very pretty in your woman apron, sister. Hey how'd you like cuttin out dem itty bitty tiny teefies she drew for ya.
I wish I could shoot a gun like that outside out here. (At pumpkins). That would be against the law, though prolly. K bye.
