Even with beautiful days like these, it's easy to allow oneself to focus on life's imperfections. |
It's sometimes difficult to see beyond the minefield of goose poop just over my right shoulder. |
It can be hard to accept that my life doesn't mirror those that I see in Country Living Magazine, when I resort to cutting a watermelon on the back of a life jacket. |
But just like I do in my photos, I am going to try harder to focus less on the flaws, so to fully appreciate the blessing of all of the good in our lives. |
And I am going to keep getting joy out of those moments that ordinarily aren't considered photo worthy. |
Because these are the days of our lives.

Hayley I adore these photos. Life is great isn't it? Sometimes, we have to pause and remember that. Thank you for sharing this. I needed to read it.
ReplyDeleteLove this post: an excellent thought. As not every moment may seem "photo worthy", I have said that we will often never hold a tangible photo of our most memorable moments other than in our mind.
