Take a Hike

Sometime before Thanksgiving...

We took a hike through Dragon Run State Forest.

It was about a mile in, a mile out.

I was about 31 weeks along, and SHE'S the one getting the piggyback ride!

I don't know how Chuck still carries her like this.

We scouted duck hunting spots and had a picnic.

Chuck found this bird's nest for Charley, and then....

Charley discovered this snake skin woven into the bottom!

She's quite the scout.

Any day in the woods, is a good day.
Unless your Bella and Edward just left you,

or unless you're lost,

or unless you're under a fallen tree,

or unless you just fell off a cliff.

Well.

What I am trying to say is,

I like the woods.
