Mama Reworks It!: From a Tank Top to a Skirt

When a girl prepares to move to Alaska, short skirts are the first thing to hit the goodwill pile. So, when I came home from Alaska, I knew the summer heat would eventually get to me. I am on constant look out for skirt/short ideas, so when Mom decided she no longer needed a black and white striped tank top, I decided to rework it.  

 The bottom was already hemmed (the former bottom of the tank top). 

I just cut a straight line under the arm holes and added elastic!

 Pretty cool.
