Brown, cardboard packages, tied up with tape.....

We received an exciting couple of packages a few days ago!

Those Georgia in-laws are just too much.
Not only have they been nice enough to store all of our baby things and holiday decorations in their basement for nearly two years, this year, they decided to dig out our Halloween decorations and send them to us here in Virginia!!

We had a such good time pulling everything out of that box!
It was like Christmas!!

It was SO nice!
We didn't have squat in the way of Halloween decorations.

One of Casper's favorite activities is to decorate for the holidays.

It meant SO much to see the tin can candle holders, Chuck and Casper made a few years back.

Oh and all the vintage decorations my mother-in-law
passed down to our family a couple of years ago...
I love seeing those again.

I know they bring back such good memories for Chuck.

The ceramic ghost was a hand-me down from my Mom.
It is my favorite Halloween decoration.
I remember when an older lady, with a pretty white ponytail,
gave to my mom when I was a just a kid.

Charley and I do the decorating around here. I let her have her way most of the time.
In my view, Halloween is a holiday for the children.
Sweet memories will come from being allowed to cram all of these little friendly guys on the table and being free to adjust and play with them at her leisure.

Thanks you Georgia-in-laws! We love you guys.

Well hoooooooowwwwww sweeeeeeet of them. That was so thoughtful! Love all those decorations, and Casper looks cute as a button. That sweet older lady with a pretty white ponytail's name was Ina. That's all I can remember. She gave us other sweet items as well. K bye.
