When a mosquito got in Charley's room and ruthlessly attacked her while she slept. 

Poor baby.

She said she couldn't be seen in public. 

Somehow I made it all the way to college without so much as picking up a copy of “To Kill a Mockingbird,” but because a friend suggested a good book when I was well into my 20’s I developed a love of reading that I, thankfully, passed on down. I’m so proud of my book loving girl.

 

 

I never thought I'd be a mom who enjoyed watching sports. But now that Charley plays basketball, I know I was wrong. It's just fun. This year we found Charley's game had improved a lot.   

She's the go to girl for jump ball. 

And she's not afraid to get those HANDS UP anymore.

And she'll shoot!

And she'll go after that ball. 

And she's not afraid to throw an elbow when it's called for.

JUST JOSHING

Though sometimes I think she gets mad enough to do it. 

How dare they try to block her! 

We had a great season with two great coaches. 

And the love...

There's something about the after-the-basketball-game time. 

Bo's had time to miss Charley.

Charley's feeling good about herself for the physical activity.

And they're happy to be sweet to each other...for a bit.
