Kitty Cat

Bo and I decided that we'd paint her face everyday for a while to
surprise Charley when we picked her up from school.

Face Paint

Bo was inspired to do a little face painting herself.

Mexican Skeleton

I was proud of this costume too. We used a tank top (another hand-me-down) and layered three different skirts for that free flowing, lots of color, Spanish look.

Chuck gifts you, his face.

Well it's not for you. It's for a girlfriend of ours.
Yeah.
When I type it out like that it sounds, well, suspicious.
And I'm just noticing he's looking all handsome and flirty here.
Well as handsome and flirty as a person can look with balloon ribbons painted down their nose.

And he does have another woman's name on his face.
Could this be a red flag of some sort?
uhhhhh
No, no, no.
I mean, I might be concerned if I hadn't painted his face myself.
And I was there when he presented his face to this girlfriend of OURS.
Besides, it takes a special kind of woman to love Chuck and she's special,
but she's special in other ways.

Charley inspired him I think, though she decided to go with something more, well, mermaid-ish? Yes, I think that was it. She wanted to be a mermaid and this is what I came up with.
Pretty simple. We were running low on time.
And she wanted black eyebrows.

I opted not to gift my face.
I am so un-fun.
I brought flowers instead.

I had a birthday recently too.
I'm 35 now.
Yep.
Thirty freakin' five.
On my birthday, Chuck gifted me with talking about how in 35 more years I'll be 70.
Dang, Chuck.
Shut it.

Just give me the cash and shut it.

And the cookie cake.

And I'll take the balloons too.

Paint Yer Face

Have I mentioned that Charley LOVES face paint?

This is Chuck's handiwork.

I'm tellin' ya, no offense to Chuck, but it doesn't really matter that he's not a pro-face-painter.
She loved it.

She's painted to look like a Monster High doll named Purrsephone.

(And those black lines around her eyes?....eyeliner.
It seems Chuck set up a massive eye safety zone.)

Charley painted Chuck as an Apache Warrior.

And I'm Scaris Skelita Calaveras.
Yep.
I just showed you that.

Face Paint
Get you some

We've got spirit, yes we do....

Master Tigress has always, always, always, had a love of big cats. Her favorite is the lion.
Of course, she loves the rest of the big cats too.
Lucky for her, her school mascot is the TIGER!
And not long ago, she had the opportunity to participate in school spirit day.

This was the reaction AFTER she saw herself.
This face makes me SO happy.
This face says, "You did good Mom."

Now, she's in character.

Oh, the roar. The roar is VERY realistic. The roar is very LOUD.
She has mastered the roar.

She received the Snazaroo face painting kit from Amazon on her recent birthday.
The kit was the perfect gift. I wish I would have thought of it years ago.
The shirt was Chuck's. Sweet.
