Child-like Decor

Mistletoe pretty much has the run of the place around here at Christmastime.
I let her pack the windowsill full of doodads.

We put this Christmas tree together based on the one I saw here.
I painted this tree onto white paper, cut it out, and Mistletoe decorated it.
Then I straight taped it to the wall.
Something I would have NEVER considered before I had a child.

Everyone got involved in this advent calendar.
I dreamed it up. Chuck drew it. Charley added the cotton balls.

Santa probably has visited most all of you by now!
He's on his way here now!
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

I thought Santa started there. You're right below the North Pole aren't you? Cute ideas Hayley. You're a great mom. Charley's a very lucky little girl.

I knew Chuck drew that Santy Clause face. I know his face drawing style for some reason. That's good stuff, ya'll! I love all those home-made decorations. Ya'll making them all together is the kind of experience Charley will never forget.

I bet he goes south first because ya'll are in the bed first. Thanks Ma.

    Sunny,
Yeah, Chuck has a real distinct drawing style. You know what? Charley NEVER filled in that last cotton ball. Bothered me to the OCD bone! It didn't bother her though. I know because I asked. I chose not to inflict my troubled OCD mind on her and I let it go. Probably for the best right? It still hurts to think about it.
